Expands Dining Comfort for Growing Student Community at SJKC Ton Fah
The Eco World Foundation continues to support educational development by donating 20 sets of stainless-steel canteen tables and benches to SJKC Ton Fah. This initiative aims to provide students with a more comfortable and conducive environment during their daily meal and break times.
The donation came in response to an urgent appeal from the school’s headmaster in December 2024, highlighting the pressing need for additional canteen furniture due to a sharp increase in student enrolment—from 200 in 2023 to nearly 500 in 2025. With the existing facilities accommodating only 300 students, the RM36,000 contribution by the Foundation ensured that the new furniture was delivered and ready for use by the start of the academic year in February 2025.
Speaking on the donation, Tan Sri Lee expressed his hope that the students will value the improved facilities, use them responsibly, and help preserve them for future generations.
