ECO WORLD FOUNDATION BUILDS WAITING AREA FOR SJKT TAMAN TUN AMINAH
The Eco World Foundation has constructed a 40ft x 30ft waiting area, aptly named Pondok Kasih, as part of our Students Aid Programme (SAP) Special Projects.
This facility, outfitted with lights and fans, provides a safe and comfortable waiting space for the school’s population of 2,000 students.
To date, five schools have benefited from our SAP Special Projects, with SJKT Taman Tun Aminah being the latest recipient. The total investment for Pondok Kasih was RM25,000.
Tan Sri Lee remarked, “As the largest Tamil school in Johor and the second largest in Malaysia, it was clear that the existing waiting area could not accommodate many students. Although the school had the initiative to set up a tent, it proved unsustainable, especially during the rainy season, raising concerns about safety.”
Recognizing the long-term needs of the school, the Foundation stepped in to assist in building this waiting area.
Pondok Kasih was successfully completed by Team EcoWorld from Eco Botanic, and Tan Sri Lee took the opportunity to express his appreciation for the team’s dedication to this successful project.
