Fostering a Reading Culture: New Book Kiosk for SK Bandar Rinching, Semenyih

In line with its mission to support education and community development, the Eco World Foundation has completed the construction of a dedicated book kiosk for SK Bandar Rinching in Semenyih. With a student population of over 2,700, the school now benefits from a purpose-built facility aimed at encouraging reading among students, teachers, and parents alike. Fully funded by Eco Majestic with a generous contribution of RM75,000, the project commenced in February 2025 and reached completion in just six weeks.

Although the kiosk has yet to be officially launched, it has already generated excitement within the school community. Once operational, it will open twice a month during the 2nd and 4th weeks, providing regular access to a diverse range of reading materials. During the handover ceremony, Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye expressed hope that the kiosk will serve as a vibrant hub for learning and discovery, helping to instill a lifelong love for reading among the young.
